Crow Killers

We killed a crow today.

The stupid bird was scavenging right in middle of Gurney Drive. Normally birds would fly off when they see vehicles coming but this bird only took off when hubby's car was almost upon it. The car hit the bird and sent it flying off towards the divider.

I was following behind when I saw the disoriented bird ricocheting towards me. The next thing I knew I heard a thud.

When I looked back it was lying by the side of the road. Not moving.
